23 th of May internationalization in education

It is important thing in education to implement projects in order to internationalization.
We have next
- trilingual policy
- we have been sending our students and teachers to different countries in order to learn, attend courses, participate in conferences and different types of competitions.
- many international teachers have been working in NIS
- learning English in summer school in London
- CIMO is educational organization provide international mobility who is responsible for exchanging programs, Bolashak is analogue of this organization in KZ.
Idea: to build a bridge between Finland and Kazakhstan, between HAMK and NIS such as exchange programs, I need to do it individually, organize it myself, invite instructor who taught us entrepreneurial education in order to teach our teachers.

The main tips were as following: use words your audience would use, be brief, it has to be attractive to take others attention otherwise no one will pay attention or even read it.Second group told us about the skill to make a good power point presentation. 13 th of May

We did activity- drama the scenario is : there are 4 students and 3 students go out,so they can not see what is happening inside. Teacher have to do some actions and call second student after the first student has to repeat all the actions that was performed by teacher to the second student, and continue till 4 th student repeat all the movements and actions. After teacher shows the first original actions and students can compare the last students performance. The meaning is that how messages or actions can change, if teacher just send them to the learners through other students.

Today I thought about teaching methods and came to the question why traditional way of teaching considered as a obsolete way, and the very interesting fact is that majority of teachers know that it is, however they continue using traditional lessons. I do not think that teachers just ignore it, perhaps this way give more opportunities than other pedagogical approaches. I came to the idea that I need to research this, find out the answer and perhaps prove.

Why nowadays traditional way of teaching considered so badly, even though teachers know the modern teaching theories they choose to teach mainly with this way. Perhaps we just lying to ourselves, if teachers need to change the way, then can we cover all programs which is in curriculum, with other methods?

9th of May last day with special education and productive learning

Today we started our day with activity in which we have choose none card with animals picture which is described each of us and explained to our peers the reason of choosing it. After we familiarized ourselves with textbooks for upper secondary school and I was interested in math books. If you ask me then it seems to me that the level of math is easier than our level though they teach only necessary and real life problems.
Youth guarantee
The objective of the youth  guarantee is to help young people gain access to education and employment. This is new governmental project which guarantee to find a job for the youth who are under 25 years old. Despite that in EU is crisis, Finnish government tries to find a job or offer different vocational education to their youn generation, they appreciate all of their people.
In the last year of comprehension school they have a project of productive learning which called " my own career" . They learn 3 days by working in different work places and rest 2 days at school, so they get the inspiration to work and choosing their future career. This process of such studying prolonged 1 year. They need to cover only the basic programs of curricula, so they have enough time for studying and it makes popular vocational school.

8 th of May I taught math

I had worked with Finnish students and help them with their difficulties in math. We  solved many math problems about the equations, vectors, matrices etc.  I enjoyed because they  had been working hard and understood all the things perfectly and we interacted with each other in English. I remembered many math terms in English such as  domain, opposite side, adjacent, numerator, denominator substitute and many others. It is always helpful in terms of math as well, so by teaching your subject you can remember and be in a good form in your main subject.

7th of May individual education plan for special needs children

We tried to answer to these questions:
1.What is an appropriate  education for a student with special needs?
Ordinary school
Blind, deaf students with slight level of disability
Handicapped students if they need to be provided by special assistance
Autistic students with their own class
Students with bad behavior who had criminal or addicted experiences
Special school
Students with mental diseases or who have mental learning problem, 100% blind and deaf children
2. What are the arguments for and against  inclusion of students with special needs into regular classroom?
For:
- special children would feel themselves as a equall member of the society
- normal children learn to communicate with special children, it can be useful
- normal children would appreciate what they already have
- special children will ready for real life when they  graduated school
- it is cheaper for government to have special children with normal children
Against
- teachers job will be difficult so it will give impact to the productivity of a teachers job
- negative influence of behavior to the normal children
- special needs children can  feel badly when they see other normal children
- normal children will have to wait while special children do the task slowly
- normal children can afraid to work with special children and feel uncomfortable
Afternoon we have spoken with one US student and asked questions and I recognize that KZ. Education system and US education system are almost the same

6th of May we have visited vocational school for special children with disabilities

We visited vocational school for children with disabilities and had been spoked with principal of this school and project director who is responsible for working with different projects such as rehabilitation help for prisoners. Vocational school consist 17 different buildings and all of them Equipped perfectly.
There studied only students with learning disabilities and school help them to find a job and to be engaged in everyday life as other normal people. Main study principle is " Learning by doing".we also saw the garden company which is the part of this vocational school, and we were astonished by seeing it.
Important thing is the government provide all the conditions in order to prevent these peoples with disabilities not to be criminals or addicted and etc. They try to give them opportunities to be equal members of the society. Teachers who work there are earned 20 % more than teachers in other schools. Number of personal is 400, when number of students is 600. Many students studied at work places, only part of them were in school. Positive day.
